Cleanroom Packaging for Sensitive Glass Components
For the most demanding applications, we ensure that glass components are packaged under the strictest conditions. Our cleanroom facility provides an ideal environment to inspect and package sensitive glass components, preventing contamination throughout the shipping process.
To guarantee that glass components remain clean and ready for further processing, we package them in a vacuum-sealed, nitrogen-purged ultra-low outgassing (ULO) bag. This ensures that the components stay free from contaminants and are preserved in optimal condition for coating or assembly.
Our focus on clean and contamination-free packaging makes us the ideal partner for companies that need their glass components to be coating-ready and inspection-ready directly from our facility.
Customized Packaging Options
We offer a wide range of packaging options tailored to the specific size, shape, and protection requirements of each glass component. Our goal is to ensure that the glass arrives at its destination without any defects or contamination. Some of the packaging options we provide include:
- Custom PETG Thermo-formed Containers: Single- or multi-cavity designs that hold glass components securely around their edges to maintain surface quality.

In addition, we offer custom-designed PETG packaging, made in-house, to further enhance the safety and protection of the glass components during shipment. This packaging is crafted from low out-gassing material to ensure no contaminants are introduced during transport. We can also mold customer-specific details, such as program names or part numbers, directly onto the packaging to ensure easy identification.
Three Tiers of Cleaning & Packaging Services
To meet the diverse needs of our customers, we offer three different tiers of cleaning and packaging services:
- Tier 1: Cleanroom Ultrasonic Cleaning & Cleanroom Packaging
When the highest standards of precision are required, customers opt for Tier 1. This includes ultrasonic cleaning in a cleanroom environment, followed by vacuum-sealing in a nitrogen-purged ultra-low outgassing (ULO) bag. The entire process takes place within our cleanroom, ensuring the glass components remain contamination-free and are ready for sensitive applications. - Tier 2: Ultrasonic Cleaning & Standard Packaging
For less critical applications, Tier 2 includes ultrasonic cleaning followed by packaging in standard materials. While the cleaning process remains thorough, the packaging is done outside the cleanroom environment in a non-controlled space, offering a more economical solution without compromising quality. - Tier 3: Hand Cleaning & Packaging
For applications that do not require the highest level of cleanliness, Tier 3 offers hand cleaning and packaging. This provides a more affordable option for glass components that do not have strict cleanliness requirements but still need to meet basic standards of surface quality and protection.
